Wardrobe Consulting
for Men

A wardrobe that expresses who you are and removes friction from every decision. We discover what works for you, then build your wardrobe around it.

The Foundation

Five Principles

01Lifestyle
+

Clothing is a daily tool. Your lifestyle is your way of being; how you actually live, move, work, rest, and show up in the world. Your wardrobe should account for your real routines, your environment, the demands of your body and your days. When it does, the friction disappears. Getting dressed becomes a decision made once, not negotiated every morning.

02Colour
+

Colour is one of the most powerful tools in a wardrobe. It is about creating harmony with your natural features; going a step further than just matching the colours in your outfit, by asking how those colours and shades harmonise with you. Through identifying your natural colour characteristics, skin undertone, eye colour, hair colour, and how your overall colour profile comes together; building your wardrobe becomes a unique and intentional exploration of your palette that results in ease and alignment for everyday decisions.

03Quality
+

Quality is not price; it is construction, fibre content, and longevity. Natural fibres, wool, cotton, silk, linen, breathe, drape, and age with integrity. A wardrobe built on quality is built slowly and with intention; one that does not create excess but compounds over time. Style deepens rather than accumulates.

04Fit
+

Nothing works without fit. A beautifully coloured, well-made garment in the wrong fit communicates the opposite of what it should. Fit is not just about tailoring; it is about proportion relative to your body. Where a hem falls, how a shoulder sits, how much ease a trouser has. These are decisions that either work for your body or against it.

05Meaning
+

A wardrobe without meaning is just storage. The pieces that last, that you reach for again and again, always carry something beyond fabric and construction. They mark a season of your life, reflect who you are becoming, or simply make you feel exactly like yourself. When you dress with intention, clothing becomes a form of self-knowledge; quiet, consistent, and entirely your own.

How We Work

Our process is built around you; your colour, your body, and the life you are moving toward. Each stage builds on the last, moving from discovery through to a fully researched wardrobe that is ready to wear.

Stage 01
Discovery

A dedicated sit-down conversation to understand you fully before we touch a single piece of clothing. Your lifestyle, your values, the character you want your wardrobe to communicate, where you are now and the life you are moving toward.

Stage 02
Personal Profile

Three disciplines working together. Colour analysis, your most flattering core colours, neutrals, and accents. Body proportion assessment, how cuts, lengths and silhouettes interact with your frame. Wardrobe audit, every current piece evaluated.

Stage 03
Research and Lookbook

You choose your starting point: a 7, 9, 12, or 15 piece wardrobe. We research local and international brands aligned to your personal style, quality standards, and lifestyle. The result is a full curated lookbook with recommended pieces and outfits.

Stage 04
Shopping

We shop together, guided by your lookbook. Online orders arrive at W10 for fit review. Every alteration coordinated. $100 in tailoring value included in every package.

Not ready for the full package? Our Colour Analysis, Wardrobe Audit, and Personal Shopping services can help fine-tune your current wardrobe.

Common Questions

Wardrobe Consulting

The Starter Package runs approximately 10 hours across multiple sessions. The Complete Package runs approximately 15 hours. Sessions are scheduled around your availability and typically span four to eight weeks.

Yes. Additional consulting hours can be added at any point during or after your engagement. Ask your consultant for current hourly rates.

Your colour analysis is a lasting reference point for your wardrobe and styling decisions. It can evolve over time as your natural colouring changes with age your skin tone, hair colour, and contrast level all shift gradually. A follow-up analysis can refine your palette when that happens.

W10's wardrobe consulting is conducted in-person in Toronto. The shopping and styling sessions are most effective when conducted live. Contact us to discuss your specific situation.

Wardrobe consulting is a four-stage process that builds a complete wardrobe strategy from colour analysis and personal profile through to a lookbook and shopping. Personal shopping is a single-day or half-day service where W10 shops on your behalf. Consulting is the system; personal shopping is one step within or alongside it.

Many clients return for seasonal shopping sessions, wardrobe audits, or new couture commissions. The consulting engagement establishes the foundation; ongoing services maintain and evolve it.

The in-person sessions take place at the W10 Yorkville studio or at client locations in Toronto. For clients travelling to Toronto, we can schedule all sessions within a concentrated timeframe.

We review and discuss your preferred brands to assess how they align with your lifestyle, goals, colour season, and quality standards. Not every brand will make the cut. The goal is to find the brands that genuinely work best for you as an individual, and build your wardrobe around those.
